Bumpdate 21!
Date: March 22, 2016
How far along: 21 weeks!!
Baby is the size of: A pomegranate{12.7 oz) but he is weighing more than that and measuring about 4 days ahead of his due date.
Gender: It's a boy! {Ayden Reed Joyce}
Total weight gain: 7 pounds (ish)
Maternity clothes: Everything is too big {maternity-wise} and too small {regular wise}
Miss anything? Sleeping on my stomach and TURKEY SANDWICHES and laying down without having extreme muscle spasms in back/legs/feet.
Cravings: TURKEY SANDWICHES and BUTTERY SALTY popcorn.
Movement: YES! (And he is currently breech).
Symptoms: Still nauseated and throwing up...ALL DAY, EVERY DAY! #imstuckwithit Headaches and migraines have also been very frequent. New symptom-- extreme back spasms; especially when I am on my left side.
Belly button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? Wedding band is on, engagement ring has been off since 12 weeks (It still fit, I'm just TERRIFIED i'd have to have it cut.)
Sleep: Better than it will be when he gets here... That's about all I can say. LOL
Best moment of the week? Seeing our house progress and knowing spring break is just two days away. TWO DAYS.
Exercise: Uhm, who are we kidding? I go straight for the bed when I get home from work.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Still the smell of coffee.
Also scary moment of the week: Since last week, I have been having really bad spasms in my back. Saturday morning around 6:30, I woke up screaming because I had one so bad that wouldn't stop. All day, it was on and off. I tried heat and finally gave in to Tylenol around 9 that night [too late probably]. It continued to get worse even after trying the suggestions made by the doctor on call. Around 11, they told me I needed to probably come in if I couldn't get out of pain; as they couldn't rule out anything more serious unless they saw me. I was really wondering if it could be kidney stones at that point; as I had several like symptoms of them. After spending several hours at Women's and meeting with a doctor from my office (who drove all the way from WS in the pouring rain to meet me), they ruled out everything serious, checked on Ayden, and gave me something that was safe for the pain. Turns out, my sciatic nerve is inflamed. I tore this muscle in high school and little man is pressing on it, re-pinching the nerve, and causing the severe pain. I am just so thankful it was nothing more serious. Little man was just a kicking and heartrate was strong and steady! As long as he is okay, momma can bare the pain.
Labor signs: None
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy, but I have been super emotional lately.
Looking forward to: SPRING BREAK!!!

BUMPdate 20 Weeks {Half-Way There!!!}
Date: March 15, 2016
How far along: 20 weeks!!
Baby is the size of: A banana (currently weighing 12.6 ounces).
Gender: It's a boy!
Total weight gain: 7 pounds (ish)
Maternity clothes: Thank Goodness for stretchy pants!! Wearing mostly all maternity tops and non-maternity stretchy pants. Just have to say, there are NOT a lot of cute choices maternity wise for spring. I have like 3 tops on rotation...I need more but I don't like any of this maternity fashion biz.
Miss anything? Sleeping on my stomach and TURKEY SANDWICHES!!!!!!
Cravings: TURKEY SANDWICHES and mushrooms! (Yes, I said mushrooms). We had jap this weekend and I fell in love with the teriyaki mushrooms and carrots. #cantgetitoffmymind
Movement: YES! (And he is currently breech).
Symptoms: Still nauseated and throwing up...ALL DAY, EVERY DAY! #imstuckwithit Headaches and migraines have also been very frequent. New symptom-- extreme back spasms; especially when I am on my left side.

Best moment of the week? Having my grandmother (Ayden's great-grandmother) with me, along with hubby and momma during the 20 week ultrasound. Such a special moment.
Exercise: Uhm, who are we kidding? I go straight for the bed when I get home from work.
Anything making you queasy or sick: The mere thought of chicken-salad.... (Funny story, behind that one). Being completely pregnancy-brained and due to the total fact I am a teacher and have 0.03562 seconds to eat lunch everyday and constantly am talking to students during lunch, I had two things in my lunch box- a pasta that needed to be heated and mom's homemade chicken salad-obviously that was SUPPOSE to stay cold. I mistakenly grab the wrong one without looking, pop it in the microwave, a minute later, I have steamy chicken salad. I look at my co-worker and immediately start gagging. She laughs and suggests I get some pizza from the cafeteria. The thought of that hot chicken salad stayed with me all day even to the point I get sick in my room before my last class of the day. When will this ever end???
Labor signs: None
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy, but I have been super emotional lately.
Looking forward to: Seeing more progress on our house. ( Insulation and dry wall are going up this week) THEN we can start ROLLING(floors, cabinets, paint, appliances, MOVE IN!!) I'm having the urge to nest and there's no where to "Nest". haha

BUMPdate 18/19 weeks
Date: March 5, 2016
How far along: Almost 19 weeks!
Gender: It's a boy!
Total weight gain: 7 pounds
Maternity clothes: Thank Goodness for stretchy pants!! Wearing mostly all maternity tops and non-maternity stretchy pants. Not many of my pre-pregnancy clothes feel good or fit me right... Also, not ashamed to admit, i'm currently sleeping in hubby's basketball shorts. #whateverfeelsgoodatthispoint
Miss anything? Sleeping on my stomach and TURKEY SANDWICHES!!!!!!
Cravings: TURKEY SANDWICHES, STEAK STEAK STEAK and more STEAK (which is super weird, I HATE steak usually. I got food poisoning at the beach one year from steak and shrimp and have never been a fan since...) Now, I order it EVERYWHERE and my husband just laughs.
Anything fruity aka skittles and jellybeans
Movement: Yes, I am starting to feel more and more everyday. The coolest thing is seeing him move!!
Symptoms: Still nauseated and throwing up...ALL DAY, EVERY DAY! #imstuckwithit Headaches and migraines have also been very frequent. EXTREMELY exhaused #thankyounothyroid Also pregnancy fog at its finest. I am having the HARDEST time remembering stuff. It's almost scary. I have gotten really frustrated with myself lately, but I have to remind myself it's all pregnancy related.
Belly button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? Wedding band is on, engagement ring has been off since 12 weeks (It still fit, I'm just TERRIFIED i'd have to have it cut.)
Sleep: Getting more difficult every night.. More potty breaks throughout the night and having a difficult time getting comfortable.
Best moment of the week? Mid-Week date night with my husband and seeing our house progress
Exercise: Uhm, who are we kidding? I really do need to start walking and preparing for labor though.
Anything making you queasy or sick: YES! Coffee, UGH. The smell of it from miles away will have me gagging. #helloworkroom
Labor signs: None
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy, but I have been super emotional lately.
Looking forward to: My doctor's appointment next week/his anatomy scan.
