How far along: 21 weeks!!
Baby is the size of: A pomegranate{12.7 oz) but he is weighing more than that and measuring about 4 days ahead of his due date.
Gender: It's a boy! {Ayden Reed Joyce}
Total weight gain: 7 pounds (ish)
Maternity clothes: Everything is too big {maternity-wise} and too small {regular wise}
Miss anything? Sleeping on my stomach and TURKEY SANDWICHES and laying down without having extreme muscle spasms in back/legs/feet.
Cravings: TURKEY SANDWICHES and BUTTERY SALTY popcorn.
Movement: YES! (And he is currently breech).
Symptoms: Still nauseated and throwing up...ALL DAY, EVERY DAY! #imstuckwithit Headaches and migraines have also been very frequent. New symptom-- extreme back spasms; especially when I am on my left side.
Belly button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? Wedding band is on, engagement ring has been off since 12 weeks (It still fit, I'm just TERRIFIED i'd have to have it cut.)
Sleep: Better than it will be when he gets here... That's about all I can say. LOL
Best moment of the week? Seeing our house progress and knowing spring break is just two days away. TWO DAYS.
Exercise: Uhm, who are we kidding? I go straight for the bed when I get home from work.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Still the smell of coffee.
Also scary moment of the week: Since last week, I have been having really bad spasms in my back. Saturday morning around 6:30, I woke up screaming because I had one so bad that wouldn't stop. All day, it was on and off. I tried heat and finally gave in to Tylenol around 9 that night [too late probably]. It continued to get worse even after trying the suggestions made by the doctor on call. Around 11, they told me I needed to probably come in if I couldn't get out of pain; as they couldn't rule out anything more serious unless they saw me. I was really wondering if it could be kidney stones at that point; as I had several like symptoms of them. After spending several hours at Women's and meeting with a doctor from my office (who drove all the way from WS in the pouring rain to meet me), they ruled out everything serious, checked on Ayden, and gave me something that was safe for the pain. Turns out, my sciatic nerve is inflamed. I tore this muscle in high school and little man is pressing on it, re-pinching the nerve, and causing the severe pain. I am just so thankful it was nothing more serious. Little man was just a kicking and heartrate was strong and steady! As long as he is okay, momma can bare the pain.
Labor signs: None
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy, but I have been super emotional lately.
Looking forward to: SPRING BREAK!!!
